5 Myths About Titanium Cookware (And the Truth)

Titanium cookware is hot right now — but not every claim holds up. Here’s what you need to know.

1. Titanium pans are 100% non-stick forever.
Pure titanium is naturally more stick-resistant than stainless steel, but it’s not Teflon. That’s a good thing — it means no questionable coatings. Use good fats and moderate heat and you’ll get incredible results.

2. Titanium is fragile.
Quite the opposite. Titanium is one of the strongest metals for its weight. Our pans are engineered to hold heat and resist warping, even under daily use.

3. If it says titanium, it must be safe.
Wrong. Many “titanium” pans are actually titanium-coated over aluminum or steel. The Trustpilot graveyard is full of disappointed buyers. Look for brands (like ours) that clearly state material and construction — and back it up with certification.

4. Titanium cookware is maintenance-free.
Nothing is. But titanium is easy. Use quality oils, cook on medium heat, and wash gently. That’s it.

5. Titanium pans are too expensive.
It’s an investment, yes. But compare it to the cost of replacing worn-out non-stick pans every year. Over time, titanium wins — both for your wallet and your cooking.
